Orange Wine 101

Overview:

Is it a white? Is it a rosé? No, it’s an orange wine! Whether you have tried orange wine or steered clear, you have likely found yourself wondering about this amber-colored beverage. To start, it has nothing to do with oranges, nor is it made from orange grapes.  So what IS it?!

In this class, we will learn about the long history of orange wine & how it is produced. We will discuss different styles of orange wine & taste our way through some of the key orange winemaking regions. You will leave this class with a new appreciation for all that is orange wine!

Key Orange Wine Regions & Wines: Georgia, Italy, Austria, Slovenia
