Grapes 101
Overview:
Grapes 101 provides an in-depth look (& taste!) into the world’s most well-known wine grapes.
This course is broken into four classes: two focus on grapes grown in all major wine-producing regions (“international” grapes) & two focus on grapes grown in stricter geographic areas (“indigenous” grapes.)
We will learn about the characteristics, wine styles & key regions of each grape & taste as we go. In addition, we will discuss food pairings, serving guidelines, & more. Each class will conclude with a comparative tasting of all varietals & discussion.
