Sparkling Wine 101<\/span><\/h2>

Overview:

\nThere\u2019s a common tendency to refer to all sparkling wines as \u201cChampagne.\u201d While Champagne is certainly the most famous, it only constitutes 12% of the world\u2019s sparkling wines! So what about that other 82%?\n

In this class, we will start by understanding the production side of sparkling wine- typical grapes, production methods & key styles. We will then learn about & taste the key sparkling wines of the world, including Champagne, Cr\u00e9mant, Cava & Prosecco.

\nYou don\u2019t have to break the bank to enjoy a fabulous sparkling wine. With the information you learn in this class, you will know what to look for when buying sparkling wines & be empowered to branch out & try something new! If you\u2019re lucky, you may even learn how to (safely) saber a bottle! \n<\/font><\/span><\/p>
